Olivia Mihet, a self-employed musician and vocal coach, is the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website.

When you use the booking or contact form, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and details about your event (such as type, date, city and format preference) or your message.

If you subscribe to the "Notes from Oli" newsletter, we collect your email address, and nothing else.

We do not collect payment details, passwords, or any sensitive personal data through this site.

We use this information to reply to your enquiry, discuss and deliver the live music, coaching or other service you asked about, and, only if you subscribed, to send you occasional newsletter updates.

We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

If an enquiry does not turn into a booking, we keep the details for up to 12 months and then delete them.

If you book a service, we keep the relevant records for as long as reasonably needed to deliver it and to meet our accounting and legal obligations.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time via the link in every email.

A small number of trusted service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to help run this business: Make.com (to automate handling of form submissions), Notion (to keep organised booking and enquiry records), and Google Workspace (for email and calendar).

These providers are bound by their own data protection terms and only process data as instructed. We do not share your data with anyone else.

Videos and music on this site (YouTube and Spotify) are shown as click-to-play facades, nothing loads or plays until you click. Once you do, the video or track loads directly from YouTube or Spotify, which may then set their own third-party cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.

This site itself does not use advertising cookies.

When enabled, this site may use a privacy-conscious analytics tool such as Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use it. This is only active where a valid analytics configuration exists; if none is set, no analytics script runs.

Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, get in touch via the contact page.

If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in.
